Avalon offers 900 hotel rooms, and most hotels are centrally located along Avalon's bay front pedestrian boardwalk, all within a five minute stroll from just about everything in town. Beachfront properties and luxurious condos that come equipped with a golf cart and overlooking the ocean are available.

Catalina Island is easy to get to by way of regularly scheduled boat and helicopter service. Private boat and yacht charters can be arranged as well as helicopter, plane or jet charters. 

Average travel time by boat from Los Angeles ports takes about one hour, and about one and a half hours from Orange County ports.
