Golf Cart Road Rally
An exclusive offered by Destination: Catalina! Not your
ordinary road rally! Four person teams take to the streets of
Avalon in a golf cart armed with a map and a booklet of Avalon
trivia. Participants learn about Catalina's rich history while
practicing teamwork. Finds are documented with a Polaroid camera
and points are scored as team members rip, roll and race toward
their goals. You may customize and include additional services
such as snacks, lunch or dinner, gift items and more. This
Road Rally is NEITHER a scavenger hunt nor a race, but rather is
a great way to learn the island and is a wonderful team building
experience.
Catalina Island Super Sports
Activities take place on a grassy area at a private beachfront
club, that sports a full service restaurant available for
catering lunch or dinner. Events can include pigskin relay,
gunny sack races, hula hoop toss, croquette, volleyball,
Frisbee, horseshoes, water balloon toss and beach scavenger
hunt. Customized activities can be designed to suit your
needs.
 Kayak Relay Races
Easy to maneuver sit-on-top ocean kayaks built for two is the
vehicle in this team building event. It’s safe and fun in calm
waters of a private bay in Avalon. Participants are challenged
with tricky maneuvers, paddling backwards, and working together
to reach goals. The colorful kayaks, challenging races, bright
sunshine and crystal blue waters brings out the kid in all of
us!
